The SDM01-TZ smart energy monitor is a compact monitoring system that includes a single 18mm-wide (1MW) device for DIN rail installation, along with three split-core current transformers (CTs). As a professional 3-phase energy meter, it provides precise real-time measurements of voltage, current, power, and energy consumption.

Equipped with a Zigbee communication SoC and utilizing Tuya Smart’s proprietary Zigbee clusters and attributes protocol, the SDM01-TZ easily integrates with Tuya Smart’s Zigbee gateway or any hub/gateway compatible with Zigbee2Mqtt, enabling comprehensive real-time energy monitoring and management.

Install SDM at your power distribution board (consumer unit). Start monitoring your total household energy consumption, or alternatively, monitor the usage of three individual big or medium loads.

Two integration methods are available:

  • Tuya App: A Tuya Zigbee Gateway is required.
  • Home Assistant: A Zigbee 3.0 Dongle is requried.
